and this is why you upgrade to the dana 35....and heres a pic for reference...dana 28 vs 35 u joint...

yea thats my plan, but now i gotta find a donor truck with a 4.0 and an 8.8...do you think the dana35 will have clearance problems with the lift i have? i heard the right beam support bracket is diffrent that the dana35s. its a 5.5 inch lift front
 
I didn't realize it was that big a difference between the 28 & 35 U-joints. I'll take a 35 every time!

If you look carefully you will see that all of the U-joint caps are there, the ears of the stub shaft broke instead of it spitting a cap.
 
I have the Epic Fail going too except a 4.0 driving the mess.I like what were saying in these pics the u-joint is way undersized but its not the weak point.

yea they are. they should have only put the dana28 in the 4cyl rangers and the 35 in all the v6 rbv's... it only makes sence... after i put a 35 in my b2 im puttin the 28 in my 96 ranger.

and this is why you forget the 8.8 9" and rear 60 and upgrade with a 14 bolt
