lol, all I was saying is that none one can just flat out say that there is 100% no gains. I mean just slapping a drop in k&n gives you a tiny bit of performance. The thread was started to see what CAI's there are for the 93 4.0. When people say CAI that's what they mean, a conical filter on a big smooth tube. I'm not saying that's a true CAI, but that's what they are called. I didn't invent the term.
Anyway I don't state that my setup will out perform anyone's, CAI or stock, I can just say that having a flowmaster and the new coil pack and what not, it is better. Especially since I just put stock back on to pass smog last week. I was just saying that the airflow is why people buy them, not because they are sucking cold air.
I just find it lame that people who run it stock are so sensitive about it.
If they made a modified stock setup, with a different, less obstructed in flow hole, and a less restrictive path to the TB I'd throw that on before the "CAI".
