1994 ranger 4.0 4x4, in the process of replacing shackles and spring hangers and leaf springs. Mine are rusted out and brokeen leaf. Was planning to replace the bushings in the leafs that are going in since everything else is getting replaced. ordered all parts and picked up the bushings at local O'reilly. When I pressed out the bushings they are two different size. One is 1.625 and other 1.250 diameter. Their computer shows one size of 1.250 diameter. Leafs came off a 93 explorer that I put the engine in my 89 BII few years ago but the part number on spring is F17A, that tells me 1991 ranger,BII,explorer. Nobody in town can find the 1.625 bushing. Any Idea where to look? F150 too wide full size bronco too wide.

try a spring shop they might just have something that will work

Try mid-80's Ranger, for the 1.625

the problem ended up being the guy behind the counter. It took three trys to get the right ones ordered. The part number was there all along. Kid couldnt read the screen right. The manager and I looked it up with no problem. Rear leaf spring forward bushing plan as day. They have some newer kids on the counter and they dont listen very well.
