Largest Tires that'd work on 2002 XLT..?

Was wondering what is the largest size 15" tires that would be suitable on a 2002 XLT, 4 door....? Current size is standard 225 70 15.

If only there were a chart or a comprehensive list somewhere....

We could call it "tire fitment"....

Oh, and we could put it in the tech library under the section "wheels, tires, brakes, and suspension"

What is your motor/transmission/axle ratio? While bigger tires have obvious qualities and enhancements over smaller tires, they also have drawbacks. A small motor or an under-geared axle will lug and work much harder to turn them tires.

Also, cranking the torsion keys a touch will "level" the front and allow for slightly more clearance.
