Does any one know what size the nuts are for the studs on the knuckle that secure the spindle? Its on a 94 4.0 4x4. I need to find replacements ASAP

I dont know the size, but go to Rockauto.com, and put your vehicle info in and it will show you the specific ones you need.

I retract my last statement. Apparently they are metric.

In direct answer to the question they are 3/8UNF , 3/8" fine thread or 3/8-24.

I'm almost positive they are M10-1.5 "stover" type nuts on a D35. They take a 15mm wrench.

My D44 OTOH, uses 3/8-24 nuts and takes a 9/16" wrench.

Sorry the bag of nuts I grabbed off my workbench are D44 nuts...

Yeah the D35 are metric.

Not sure they are 10mmx1.5 though

They do look like 10mm, though I s'pose a finer thread is possible... But definitely metric.

Hey thanks for all the replies!
