I did like that job, was almost disappointed to be recalled back from where I was laid off, but for 5$ more/hr and fri-sat-sun off I did just that. And since Im back to work it would be weekends or after 5 before I could get any donuts. When I went back I assumed I would be back at a machine operator position like I had been before, but as luck would have it Im not. I deliver sand from the mixers to the machines. Its quite busy with 5 possible types of core sand and a total of 9 machines. Theres 2 of us doing the job so its not bad. Hopefully they just stay a 1 shift operation, Ive gotten quite used to day shift, its much better then getting home @ 230 am , and if for some reason we went down to 1 vehicle I could always drop her off at work & then pick her up after my work, she would only have to wait around 15-20 min. I dont see that happening, have 3 vehicles now and for the moment (knock on wood) everything is working right. Time for a donut myself. and a hot chocolate in my bmw mug, courtesy of @ericbphoto
