Well, decided to update the 1st post with what the Ranger has evolved into. When i bought it, it was May 2008. It was bone stock and i bought it from the original owner. It had around 120k on the ticker, and for being 14 years old, that was pretty good. The truck was in great shape, other than it needing a throwout bearing. I never took pictures from when it didn't have aftermarket wheels, but it had 15"

Here is my 94 supercab XLT. I am the second owner of this truck and all the work was done by me. Now that i have a newborn and am a fulltime student, i cant keep working on it, so i have to pay people to do it. The work it has now is a Dana 44TTB, 9" rear, 6" skyjacker lift, 35" Toyo's, 15" rims, spintech exhaust

Here is what it looked like when i started. I dont have any pictures with the stock rims, but this is close enough

Have you got a front view with the wheels straight? want to know about how wide the front is.

So have you got everything sorted out with the D44? The D44HD shaft is working good?

i used the ranger mounts that came with the class II skyjacker lift. This is the best picture i have of it with the wheels straight. I never finished it. I scrapped the TTB and it is in the shop right now getting 3-linked with 14" coilovers and D44HP up front

Wanna sell the D44HD long shaft? I've been looking for one locally and there is Jack around here.

its a Dana 44 TTB from a 93 Bronco. I will sell you the shaft if that is what your needing

I know it's a D44 TTB. But IIRC you were the one that used a D44HD TTB shaft to make it work with the RBV pivot points. Correct?

If so then yes I would be interested in the D44HD TTB shaft. (passengerside inner, not the center joint parts.)

Maybe the lengthened steering adjusters too if you still have them.

nope. Never got it finished. It was pretty much a lifted 2wd. Never hooked anything up. The axle i have is the stock axle.

thanks brother

Very cool, man! You don't see this swap very often! I bet its pretty tough!

its a pain in the fawking as. I do not recomend this swap to ANYONE. The D35TTB is just as strong. The only thing that is better on this one is the brakes and hubs. Best thing to do is just take the brakes and hubs off the D44 and drill out the tapers on the 35 knuckle to fit it. Then use the outer axle shaft off the 44.

Did you have coils mounted to the 44 beams in the stock location and leaned in to the stock Ranger coil buckets?

no, i cut up an old CJ bumper and welded it to the frame then mounted the stock coil buckets to the "spacer". Check out page 2 on my 94 ranger car domain (the link in my signature)

You don't get the full width that way though (wasn't that the point of a swap like this?).

Also, you need a much longer drop pitman arm on it.

Looks good otherwise though.
