My parents lawn tractor with key and snap ring rear axle had survived HARD use (10yr old boy doing wheelies and clutch dumps on pavement hard)
Never broke anything and still works to this day, they bought it new in 2000. Also did lots of heavy hauling with it.... Trailer loaded full of stuff up grades and nasty terrain, slamming on brake down hills loaded.
