I recently received a base model 2001 Ranger extended cab 2 door that I intend to fix for my sister to have a spare vehicle. Digging around on this thing today I realized that I have no idea where the emergency kit is located on it. By emergency kit I mean the jack, tire iron, and 3 piece crank rod for spare & jack. I can't even find a place for these items on this 2001, on my 99 4 door they are under a cover on the back wall of the cab, but this truck doesn't have that. It also has little compartments instead of jump seats, but the stuff isn't in there either.
It looks like it was a former fleet truck, so it might not have come with these items, but I don't want to send her off without them. I would like to get the stock stuff and mount it where it is supposed to be in the truck, intend to look for some of it while at the pick-n-pull this weekend. Even if I can't find it, I can get a small bottle jack and tire iron to put in the truck, but definitely need the crank rod to drop the spare tire.
