ive found the solution to antenna break ins on our rangers.

I have had this type of antenna on my Ranger for as long as I can remember. I hate stock skinny, way to tall antennas anyways!!! With a lift kit all the stock antennas just smack the top of my garage doors anyways....lol

The reception on the radio is incredible as well. People say you will loose some reception but you don't!!!!! I think this type of antenna works way better!!!

I tried those, btw, but I didn't get good reception...but that doesn't mean they don't work, just when you're outside the GTA the reception is weaker...

For 10 bucks I'll get one. Does anyone know if they changed something on the newer Rangers, because I tried the antenna trick and it didn't seem to work? Mind you I didn't try very hard....Called up Ford Canada to ask them about it to get the reply "Sir, I have no idea what you're talking about...I've never heard of any such issues with our trucks"

I believe they fixd this issue around 2008 or something but I'm not positive. I know you can do it on mine but I have tried and only won one time with my locks so if anyone has that much patience to unlock my truck instead of breaking the window I applaud them.
