A friend of mind lives in OK had a real bad wind storm his next store nabor an all the rest of the neighborhood went black.Its was during the NHL finals.Every one was sitting in the dark but him He kinda got loud and was say some on guys get the dam thing in the net.Nabor's looked out there windows His house is all lite up and he's having warm bean dip and cheese and chips.He did not know there was a power outage.until the game was over an he walked out side and saw the nabor hood pitch black.You feel like ODD man out


Neighborhood kinda changed that night. The next power outage when the power crews showed up to that neighborhood all the lights where on and it was like what power outage they go one block over black as midnight.Not a sound.

Well, my shop is taking longer than expected to build. But it's happening. Broke the news to my wife that I need a lift. If the shop goes over budget, I'll do the lift next spring when I get my bonus check. 30x40 ft enclosed with a 20x30 covered parking at the front end. Will also have a heated and cooled room inside for storage and smaller hobbies. That will be where more sensitive tools will live so the humidity doesn't make them rust.

Anybody have a few buckets of dirt? I've got some serious back-filling to do to get the floor level.

It's on a slope. 6 ft of difference between opposite corners. I'm pouring foundation walls. Then I will back-fill with dirt, then pour the floor. These pictures were last week.

In my neighborhood all you hear is generators running when the power goes out

Make sure you pour that pad 12" thick man. Otherwise you will be cutting out patches and re-pouring them to the correct thickness to mount your lift properly.

I will have money soon getting out of Calif Morons are here.I Need a heater shop.With a modine high up heater that can push valunm of heat on them cold days I know one thing I want a Generac its the one that runs off natural gas or Propain when you have them bad storms.Yes they cost a pretty penny But coming home to a freezing house or a house that is cooking.No thank you

Screw those Modine gas units. Get a waste oil burner and then advertise on CL that you take used oil. Everyone is always looking to get rid of used oil. Those Modine units are expensive to run and always broken.
