Intake Manifolds

Hello to ALL,,,I am new here,,but have read many Great threads!!

My question today is::: Does anyone know what the differences are between the 01-03 and 04-2011 intake manifolds ?? I have looked at lots of pics,,but unsure on the difference..

I have seen acouple yrs..that the Throttle Body area of the manifold comes Straight out the front,,but other then that,,I have NO idea..

I have a 2001 Ranger,4.0L that needs a new manifold,,,but from what I have seen,,I have to stay with a 01-03 out of Ranger or Explorer.

There are differences in the PVC setup and the direction of the throttle body, which were caused by variations in the valve covers.
If you are junk yarding this you can use the later intake from a Ranger or Sport Trac, you just might need the tube that goes back to the filter box too.
