I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 4L V6. 2wd automatic.

I was looking for instrument panel LED warning light bulbs ready to install. I screen captured an A-1 Auto video and suspect about 15 of them (see attached Image). I believe they are 168 (brighter) or 191.
Questions:

1. Is my count correct?
2. What brands and outlets should one avoid?
3. By the way, anyone, what are the little metal doohickeys that look like bulb twist mounts? (but are probably not.)

Thanks for your help!
