92 Ranger 3.0L. When it rains the turn signals will not flash or flash rapidly. Thought it might be a ground problem. When I probe the socket with a test-light (left side) the Or/Gr wire flashes strong. The Brown wire (brake light) flashes weakly. (shouldn't flash at all) Thinking multifunction switch is back-feeding through the headlight switch. Any thoughts?

Oh, When I turn on the headlights all sometimes works fine. And during these frustrating times, occasionally the left tail light wont work. Other times they don't flash at all. Also thought it might be a ground. But they seem fine.

I'd look at the harness connector between the tail light harness and the frame rail harness (left side)

It's in the splash/spray pattern from the left rear wheel...
