1993 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 5spd

low mileage on her

when I first got the truck it was barely drivable so first thing was a tune up and more.

today I rewired the rear of the truck tail, brake and reverse lights..

there were no license plate lights to I had to go buy some and then install and wire them,

while I was at it I got a bully tailgate net and installed it

my shift bushing kit came in today so I started on that

was a fairly straight forward install, she shifts like a new truck now..

one problem the truck had with the 2" BL was that the hole in the floor I could see the ground and the cup holder just flopped around.

I took 2 pieces of heavy leather put an X in the center made a frame and covered the hole in the floor, then the boot and cup holder didn't fit right..

so I turned the boot around cut the front lip off the cup holder and got her installed..

now she shifts like a dream and there is no noise or other crap coming in, specially the cold this winter ..

let me know what you think of my modification..

well that's all so far,

more next week..

looks good man, thats one fo the best colors Rangers came with, i like it a lot, my mom had a 93 in that color.

i had some issues with the cup holder console when i did the body lift on mine, but instead of cutting the console i moved it back a couple inches lol

Cup holder looks good, thats a nasty knock on the noggin ur truck has,

I don't think I'm actually going to do most of the body work, maybe the roof and the drivers door..

I already take it trail and wandering thru the forest so the body doesn't mean much to me..

tires are on the truck for delivery today woot ! ! !

Front Bumper raised, now to start making the skid plate..

got the mounts all slotted so I can raise or lower as needed, surprisingly this is a well constructed bumper for a stock ford part lol

more pics later after I get the rear bumper & tires mounted

if anyone is looking for a nice rear tube bumper, this is a stock for splash part, the guy I know has 2 more left, I paid $123 shipped to my door..
