in the midst of putting a np 205 in my 85

hi, im right in the middle of putting a np 205 in my ranger behind a e40d , wondering if anyone has done this i tried searching and couldnt find much ,,did you notch the transmission or have to clock it up or how did it go on any help would be awesome

Yes it bolts up fine, but..............shifter may be an issue and front drive shaft as well.
So yes you will probably have to redrill to "clock" transfer case to get front drive shaft clearance, and then tackle shifter
