Hello, I stumbled upon this site while looking up info on my new (old) ranger, seems like a really good group with good people. Last week I decided to buy a used truck, not really intending to buy a ranger but I found one on CL, they were asking 1000.00 but I drove it home for 750. It's a 87 ranger 2x4, 2.0 carbed 5 spd. Straight truck, never wrecked, no rust, just a few hail dings and the interior needs a little TLC. It sit up for bout a year or so according to the prev. owner. The motor & drivetrain runs like a sewing machine, just a little slow going up steep hills but I guess thats normal for 80 horses. Heck, I feel like a teenager again just anticapating fixing it up. Every time I googled ford ranger, TRS would always come up so I starting looking in & thought I'd join. I got a couple of ?'s Anybody got any advice on were to pick up interior parts like the dash pad cover, arm rests, and I also want to get the center plastic caps for my wheels. My plan is to keep it stock and use it for camping, fishing, yard sales, etc. Looking forward to hearing from all you and sure am glad somebody founded a site like this. I've already got my feelers out for a 4x4 ranger or maybe even a bronco.

Welcome to the site. Many guys find the parts they're looking for right here.

Welcome to the Station! Check out your local junkyard or LMC Truck or Rockauto for replacement parts. Let's get some pics of your '87 so we can see what you've got. Glad to have you with us memphis!
