I'm finally ready to do a swap!

I have finally put enough money together to start putting a list of stuff together to do my swap lol.
I have a 2003 Ford Ranger 3.0 automatic transmission that I've had since 2005. I am now wanting to do an EcoBoost swap. Either a 2.0 or 2.3 but it has to be automatic. I've had five spine surgeries and there's no way I can deal with the five speed now.
I just need to know where to start. What motor and transmission do I need to start looking for. What parts are salvageable from the original setup? Honestly I'm just looking to have a reliable truck that's been brought into the current world. I love the look of my Ranger better than the new ones and having on this one for 20 plus years, it's very sentimental to me.
Of course a few years back I had talked with RonD and it looks like he's MIA now.
I have no problem "tipping" and compensating anyone for their help with this big project.

Mustang 2.3L Ecoboost 310HP 320LBFT Turnkey Swap Kit

Everybody wants a Mustang motor. Seems like starting with a Ranger part would be easier to me, but IDK.

The advantage of the 2.3 Ecoboost is that there is a RWD setup already out there and a transmission to go with it. I don't know if there is a 2.0 Ecoboost in a RWD configuration. There is at least one thread on someone doing the swap. I don't remember how much detail went in to the thread or if they ever posted the finished project but they did manage to get it to fit in a small Ranger's engine bay.

Got my 8.8 3.73 posi 30 spline two weeks ago and just sent the payment for the 2.3 Kit. I wonder from the 3.0 and manual to the 2.3 wt auto 10sp if there is a weight difference?
