I was diagnosed for my first time in 2011 when i was 20 years old that was 12 years ago now.

I was 4 pounds and 7 ounces when i was born

I was born in 1991.

Our boy quit breathing right after he was born and got a couple days in nicu. Not normally a big deal but the nicu was full at our hospital so he got transferred to a different one so he got separated from his mom until she got released. This was all pre-covid (barely) and it was stressful for our relatively minor case.

He only did it once and has been fine since.

Nonverbal learning disorder is what it's called. It was what they call apnea I believe and a nicu is intensive care for babies.
I like the truck, I've owned it for 20 years, also have a few more.

my big one is ADHD. my 13 year old son is an Aspie, and likely I am on the spectrum as well, but since I was born in the early 70s I never got diagnosed as such. the methods for testing for ASD are soo much advanced in the last 15 years, and ASD can be diagnosed fairly easily. As for me being on the spectrum, my wife definitely thinks it is true, and it does explain a few things about me and my struggles as a kid and making friends. for the most part, i think I have worked around it as an adult so I am not sure that being diagnosed would be of any benefit. The ADHD can run strong though... and my son has it as well, and I see the same in myself. To the neurotypical people out there, an Aspie can be considered "different" but I also see in my son some great traits in him, and thankfully society is becoming much more aware of ASD and accepting of it and some of the quirks that it brings. Embrace your Neurodivergency

Also a book that helped me understand the Asperger world is "The Parent's Guide to the Medical World of Autism" by Edward Aull, MD. this was my son's doctor for quite a while, and this book really is good. it described that most Aspies parents are usually engineers, accountants and such, and that describes me and David's mother. I have a 2 year degree in engineering and currently in IT, she is a CPA. Also Check out Danny at Asperger Experts, he has a youtube channel that is very insightful, especially to you Neurotypicals (Normies) out there

No, but it's worse for me. I grew up in home with lead-based paint and I used to drink water from the garden hose because nobody told me it was bad for me. So, my future probably isn't looking too bright.
