I want to sell my 93 f-150 5.8 4x4 or should i keep it ?

I have owned my 93 f-150 5.8 v8 4x4 for coming up on 11 years but sometimes i want to get a newer 02 or 03 f-150 super crew 5.4 v8 fx4 off road.

Or get another smaller truck so i can own 2 rangers at one time.

I could get $7,000 for my f-150 =)

But my f-150 has sentimental value because my dad bought that truck for me so it would be hard parting from it.

Does it do things for you that your Ranger can't do? Do it perform it's function and does not have any serious issues like frame rot or something that be very expensive to repair? If it's yes to everything other than the repairs, I would keep what you have and maintain it.

Buying a used vehicle is always a gamble on it's condition and how well the previous owner or owners took care of it. You could be better off than you are now, in the same position, or worse off than you are now if it turns out the seller hid or lied about some serious problems. In the end, it's your money and you have to deal with whatever you end up with. We're just a bunch of people on the internet that don't have any skin in the game and we aren't paying for it or fixing it.

I think I've said it before, but if I had your F-150 I'd never let it go. I love that body style, and those options are like a unicorn these days.

It's your truck, do what you want/need with it. I pretty much agree with everything that @sgtsandman said.
