The snake oil thread got me thinking of a project I've always wanted to do. Take a bunch of gummed up nasty old fuel injectors and run them on a bench test with different off the shelf cleaners to see if they actually improve any. The plan is to take a 5 gallon container with a pump, mix gasoline and the recommended amount of several different injector cleaners through them 1 by 1 and check out the before and after of each one. I just need nasty injectors. I could spend a day at the junkyard pulling a million injectors 1 by 1 but I figured I'd see I'd anyone here had an old disgusting motor laying out back in a heap with cruddy injectors you dont need itll save me some time. If you've got any PM me and I'll send you money for shipping.

Don't worry all the leftover gas will be put to use in my lawnmower, chainsaw, polaris etc... I promise not to start a large fire with it. ?

If i still got them i got 6 you can have from rusty 2.0. I know atleast 2 were garbage. You pay shipping

PM me if you find them and I'll send you the shipping

Ill send ya the old fuel rail (its bent) if you wanna play with that too.

I have a whole wiring and rail thingy already made up. I bought a bench kit to clean injectors off the truck a long time ago and they just plug right into it. No need for a rail or anything but the dirty injectors.

I am trying to figure out a way to pulse them without sitting there hitting the button off and on for hours while the 5 gallons of gas flows through them. I could just let them spray straight but I think the pulsing will help clean them better. Not sure how to rig that though.

Any electrical type people got a simple plan?

Can you wire it into a relay of some sort?

Yeah... just use a flasher.

This is a one pin flasher...
I guess that would also make this a "dirty old injector"
