I have returned with a new (to me) toy!

Well everyone I have bought my second Ranger! It is a 2011 4x4 XLT with 75k on it and not a spec of rust under the doors or tailgate which is really all I was looking for up here. My first impressions have been great with this thing and the power increase from the 3.0 to the 4.0 is really staggering. It is hard to see my old one go but the only reason I was able to keep her so long is because of the people on THIS FORUM, I cannot thank all of you guys enough for the support and learning you have selflessly provided. I hope for years more of trolling and learning from all of you

It came with a topper which I sold and I installed a soft tonneau and bed rail/tailgate caps as well as a bug deflector (which I only put on for looks as I don't think they do anything)

And a picture of the old girl in her prime the day I brought her home before the rust got a hold of her.

Nice looking truck...there is quite a jump from the old 4.0 to the newer one too...so you got a double boost by going with the newer one...

I was thinking about going to an F-150 but after I thought back on my old Ranger I could not think of a single time that it wasn't up to the task at hand, plus now without the flareside I have gained some bed space

Oh and I still love the fact that they were made in my backyard, pretty crazy to drive by the ford plant and see it gone even after 5 years or so.
