my suspension is so crappy i try to avoid driving my truck when i can which sucks...everything feels tight and drives straight but when i drive down the road it feels like i have steel blocks for springs. my dash looks like its going to shake loose if i dont change something. im sure the shocks are not new but would shocks really make that much of a difference or is there a bigger problem? yes i do have coil spacers which i could understand makes the ride quality bad but it rode this bad when it was stock.

I can vouch for all of that. Mine rides horrible. My Brother inlaws 94 and my friends 01 feel great though. I think things are just worn out.

Ive got new hanger bushings and shocks and haven't felt a difference. The only thing i can think of is the springs?

There is nothing worn out about my suspension, but it does ride a little stiff for my taste. I plan to get F150 coils when I go to F250 shocks, as I have read that they are softer. I have heard that they give around a 2 inch lift, and probably more on my truck as it is light in the front. This thread was helpful to me-link.

ttb or tib springs are stiff... get softer coil springs and quality shocks.
take a leaf out of the rear leaf pack and get the height you need with aftermarket shackles or a small lift block. usually the rears are fine stock.. its the front thats soooooo stiff. find softer coils.

On that <<<--------- 2wd swb, we put f150 shocks on the front, and f150 air shocks on the rear, and it rides great- it is a truck, but it is quite bearable...

Yea I ordered a lift and went with the softer shocks in hopes it will help a bit, but I hear the springs in the kit are mighty stiff so who knows till I get it on.

If your shocks are old they can seize up causing your suspension to stay locked. Giving you that comfy road massage your feeling.
