Hurst shifter M50D

I was looking at getting a hurst shifter part number HUU-3915020 for the M50DR2 in the explorer 5 speed swap I remember the trying to take the top of the shifter from my R1 when I originally was doing the R2 in my Ranger and putting it in the R2 and it didn't work. I was gonna try to reuse the stock Ranger shifter. I have seen guys online say they use this shifter in their f150, and it works. I'm just looking to confirm this with someone here if they got it to work.

yes it works I've swapped mine but it's not an upgrade or mod it doesn't shift quicker the only difference is the length of the shifter tube i hanged it by wire heat it with a torch and the tube will fall right off then press the shorter tube on. like i say i was in a pinch, it isn't a mod but yes it's functional
