buying 2 pioneer shallows for my 2004 ranger edge and i dont want to have to replace the head unit. I know you have to do a "line out converter". but im not quite sure how to do this. Who's got a nice little tutorial on this? pictures prefered.

no pics sorry, your amp should come with it. it a lil square plug. with 4 wires coming out, you splice thos wire into your rear speakers, your rear speakers will not be as loud, due to some of it going to the amp, be sure to have your amp set up right your filters. you will be getting a full sound signal. so you run your subs like speakers if its not set up right. but just make sure you have your lp filter on.

so ive got in all wired up. I have a 2004 ranger edge ext cab, with the upgraded pioneer system. So it ALREADY had a 6.5 in powered sub that sit in the center console. i decided i didnt want that flat out stupid sounded bass; where guys have 4000w in bass in the cab but only 250w in high and mid. So i went with 2 pioneer shallow mount 8" and a crunch 1000w amp. Ive got it all wired in nicely. but i was thinking about deleting out the back jump seats and building a box that fits in nicely where the seat would have sat. Any sugestions guys?
