How To: replace broken hood stoppers.

I'm pretty sure it's a common thing for the hood stoppers to break on rangers. Mine have been broken for a long time. Here's how I fixed them:

I used a set of Energy Suspension Low Profile Bump Stops (pn# 9.9102GC) and some 3/8 nuts.

I welded one nut where the original stoppers went.

And then added another nut to the bump stop as a jam nut, and threaded it in.

Then after adjusting them, and throwing on some black paint, I was done.

not bad. i just use whatever i have left over from old rubber shock inserts, sway bar bushings, etc.
