I'm upgrading my b2 rear end to a explorer I would like to go 4:10 with disk brakes. All my local pick a part has are 3:73 ls.( which is what my b2 is now) should I just do the rear end upgrade now and wait to find a gear set.or just wait for a OEM complete unit at my wreaker ?
Basically how popular is 4:10 in explorers...

The explorer disc l/s at the bone yards by me are usually 3.73 arround here ive seen one or two drum brake models with 4.10s but its been a while. but its truthfully a personal preferance.

So basically you suggest take the 3:73 and just keep watch for 4:10's.
they should show up one day..
I can swap the gears from a ranger 8.8 or explorer 8.8 if I find them, right? How pricy is that?
