How much lift?

I have a '96 xlt 4x4, I just got a 2" lift kit. Can I run 31's without rubbing or should I add 2" body

I think you should be fine with 31s. I run 33s and only have a 3 inch body lift and torsion keys. If you have any rubbing you could always get some coil spring spacers for the front but the back will be fine.

My 99 clears 33s with 1.5 front 2" rear. You should be fine.

My 94 with no lift runs 31's w/o any trouble.

I have a '93 without a lift and it clears 31s with no problem, even when it flexes. Doesn't touch the sway bar at all either.
