Just wondering how hard it would be?

Cost?

id need whole front end assembly, transfercase, actuator motor for 4wd, other mics parts?

anyone done one?

you would need the crossmember from a 4x4. if you want to do it it might be about the same difficulty and cost to put a solid axle in. if you really want to do it though you need t-case(manual or electric, manual might be a bit easier), 4wd tranny, 4x4 crossmember upfront, front setup(a-arms,spindles, etc.), t-bars and crossmember. thats all i think of right now. If you can get ahold of an edge it will be easier those are almost bolt on.

Unless you have the torsion bar front suspension, its really not feasible at all. Your better off finding a 4x4 truck instead.

Basically you'd need the frame from a 4x4, all the front suspension parts, the front diff, the transfer case, the transmission (or have a shop mod yer trans with a 4x4 tailshaft and tailhousing), and the front and rear driveshafts.
