I would like to get more HP out of my 2007 ranger and was wondering where can I start.I rarely see any 2007 4x4 4.0 done all up saw 1 at a where a guy had said he had 700 hp out of it looked sweet Id like to get started but need advise

1. Take an english class

2. How much money do you plan on spending?

There aren't many good ways to pump more out of these engines. You can do the typical things like a cam, injectors, exhaust, ported intakes, etc. You will need tuning software in order to properly tune the engine for those mods. Access to a dyno will be necessary in order to properly tune the engine after any upgrade. Otherwise its a waste of money to change anything. The ecu will self tune itself to a small degree but dyno time is needed in order to get the most out of any upgrade.

Banshee Superchargers makes a kit for your truck. You can find them in the vendor section here.

Insert large amount of money here, get more power. More power on a Ranger always equals larges amounts of money. Most of us are perfectly happy with the way our trucks work and leave things as they are.

700hp. I wouldn't expect to get that anywhere under... Say 18 grand. Reliably. You could get 700hp for 100 miles for like 3k. But you would then be buying a complete engine trans rearend and depending how much let go at once maybe a prosthetic leg and truck hood.

the easiest way for you to get 700 hp from a 4.0 is to remove it and put in a 460.

Google "performance cam, Mustang 4.0L". There are heads and cams out there for the 4.0 SOHC, but they are expensive.

Why More HP?

The biggest issue I see is trying to convert a truck to a dragster. Why? It's a truck. Your's came with enough HP to do the intended work of a truck. Leave it alone. If you want a sports car then by one.

hey there is a s10 at my race way that is pulling high 8s on the 1/4 mile i would love see a ranger wope its a$$

Why the heck not?
Trucks have become increasingly popular as a platform for racing/pro-touring vehicles lately because they're cheaper to buy than sports cars, are readily available, are easier to work on, and most still have some utility when they're done.
I autocross my Ranger, and usually posted very competitive times against 350Z's and the like before my engine swap. (should be faster now) I've got about $15000 invested in my truck including the purchase price. It still has a fully functional bed, and leaf spring rear suspension. A used 350Z would cost me just as much as my truck, and be less functional and much less unique.
