Christmas is just around the corner, and we can already feel the festive vibes in the air! 🎅✨ Whether you're planning a cozy movie marathon at home, decorating your vehicle with Christmas lights (yes, we see you, vehicle mod fans!), or hitting the road for a snowy adventure, we want to hear all about it!

Do you have a quirky family tradition, like matching pajamas or epic gingerbread house battles? Or maybe you're decking out your truck with reindeer antlers and a red nose for a holiday parade? Share your plans, funny stories, or even pictures of your Christmas prep!

Let’s make this thread sparkle with festive cheer! 🎁🎄

Step 1: Light up the house. The family can't compete.

Step 2: Light up the truck. My dad taught me everything there is to know about vehicle illumination.

Step 3: Compete in the annual reindeer race. That's me about to pass Dancer (or was it prancer...) during last year's race. My sister is behind me to my right in the pink helmet. She never takes it off.

Step 4: Finally, return to my basement where we drink eggnog and sing Christmas carols.

There's Robbie and Justin having a gay old time.

All those people have way more hair than me hahaha.
I'm looking forward to some good food and time off. May try and hit a little Christmas trail ride with some friends over the break. But I always try and save a week of vacation for this time of year. That way I can enjoy the holidays with the kids since schools are closed.
We are always busy both coming from divorced homes. My kids benefit from 4 Christmas gatherings haha. All being said I wished they could experience the huge Christmas gatherings we had while my Grandparents were still around. We would have family come in from all over the country. Now we have 4 small gatherings with just 5 to 10 attending.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Good food with good people.

P.S. if anyone has no where to go you are always more than welcome around our table.

So instead of having 4 small gatherings, have them at your house!!

Man putting all them together would be a show for sure haha. I've tried but getting a few of them to leave their houses is a job in itself. So we gave up. We have talked about it once her Gran passes. But her traditions is all she has to hold on to. Not to mention my dad only leaves the house for Dr. appointments and Groceries.

When I was a kid, we had aunts, uncles and cousins all together in one house for Christmas. The aunts and uncles have passed, the family isn't as close anymore, and I'll be having Christmas with my daughter, son-in-law, and his mom. And Marley. Can't forget Marley.

We need a TRS company Christmas party. :derisive:

we go to the southern border to have christmas eve with my wife's family, then we go to the texas hill country to have new years with my family.

christmas day is spent at home with the kids, and they are at the age where only one is usually here because of hte army life. luckily, one got out this year so he is here and the other has leave and will be here the 28th till the 3rd

I'm spending mine in the Middle East, courtesy of Uncle Sam.

We really appreciate you and every other service member. It's only because of you that we get to spend Christmas with our families.

Thank you. I know what holiday deployments are like.

Personally, Christmas will be quiet. My brother and his family were just here for a few days with me and mom. They left this morning. So, we did Christmas. I'll be working Christmas eve and Christmas Day. So, I'll just relax and do my usual stuff - harassing TRS members online and working on the Ranger or doing photo/video editing stuff.

The last time was in Guam. A nicer place to be deployed to for the holidays. It could be worse. I could be in a fox hole.

If I think about troops being deployed on Christmas day, I think about the Battle of the Bulge and the hell they went through.

God bless our service men and women deployed during this Christmas holiday.

It doesn't get much worse than that and still being on this side of the dirt.
