What is a delete bed rail cover and my 02 ranger fx4 off road came with those as a add on from factory but when i bought my ranger in december of 2022 it didn't have those type of bed rail covers. What the best place to buy oem factory ones ?? and do you think my ranger looks best without or with them or both ways ??

Thank You,
Gary DuBois

You are probably looking for these, good luck finding some though. I have not seen many for sale.

Sorry, I thought you were looking for the OEM's. Never heard of a delete bed rail cover. Strange...I thought it was an FX4 exclusive

Well I've owned 4 different Rangers before this one. Two were total losses from wildlife collisions and the other two rusted away. What all 4 had in common was electronic 4wd which I despise and failed on all four Rangers. When I saw this one for sale with a manual T-case I went quick like a bunny and bought it. So far it has been great. It has 202,000 Kms. on it and the trans was rebuilt and new clutch with warranty was installed just before I bought it. What about yours...

What were the years of your 4 rangers that you owned and did they all have the best engine for the ranger being the 4.0 v6 :) how were 2 of your rangers total losses from wildlife collisions what happened :( how did your other 2 rangers rust away :( why do you despise electronic 4wd i love my electronic 4wd its easyier and nicer and fun to have. What year did you see your 02 fx4 for sale in and where was it for sale at lol you went quick like a bunny. Im happy your ranger has been great for you. Thats low miles at 125,516, why did the trans need to be rebuilt and do you know what the condition of your old clutch was in.

I have owned 2 rangers in my life so far my first ranger was a 1994 with the 4.0 v6 and 2wd i will send you pictures of my first ranger i had and my dad bought that ranger for me at $4,000 in 2007 i think it was my daily driver back in high school i graduated in 2010.

My 2nd ranger and my current ranger i bought on my own for $10,500 in december of 2022 i was looking through my local craigslist cars and trucks section for in my local area and the next day on saturday i meet the previous owners grandson if i remember right and i test drove that ranger for about 1/2 mile and then 30 minutes later i gave him 105 one hundred dollar bills in cash and i then gave him a ride to his apartments and then i went to the gas station filled up my rangers gas tank for around $65 after that i drove home and showed my dad my new ranger and he drove it for the first time the same day i bought it. My ranger is stock and i replaced all incandesent bulbs with led light bulbs i paid to have all the dings taken out of my ranger and i paid to have the front brake pads and rotors replaced and to have the heat shield fixed. My ranger now has 83,250 miles on the original engine and transmission. I put 4 new rims factory size on and 4 new factory brand tires put on, 20 new lug nuts, 4 new center caps, 2 new license plate frames, locking gas cap, I use my ranger as my daily driver monday through friday each and every day to drive to work and back home i live 5 miles and 10 minutes one way from work. I probably have $12,000 into my ranger now :)
