Get the job done, correctly, the first time. There's beer to be had.
Hello everyone. Just thought I'd drop a quick note and introduce myself.

I recently got my father's 1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD 4.0. Currently has just over 221,000mi. It runs pretty well. He had it since 2002 and roughly 52,000mi. He was always meticulous about staying on top of maintenance but in his final years, I'm sure certain things were neglected. I'm currently taking time each weekend to address little issues.

The photo below is probably the first time it had been out of the garage in at least 9 months.

I just got new tires put on yesterday. BFG AT T/A KO2s. Got a great deal at Costco!

I joined up because this place has already been a wealth of knowledge for me. I've been wrenching on my stuff since I was old enough to do so.

Anyway, I think it's a sharp-looking truck. I'm looking forward to getting it up and running in top condition.

I look forward to sharing knowledge and pictures everyone.

That is a good looking truck... they don't last like that up here in the salt belt.

Welcome to TRS...

Sir I say Sir, your trailer hitch is on the wrong end of the truck!

Welcome and nice looking truck.

Nice rig, KaHOnas.
Welcome to the forum.

With that web name and that rig, you can get a double set of these new member gifts, one for the front and one for the back (or is that two and two?)

Don’t let us make you “nuts! 😂😂😂

Nice truck, welcome aboard!

HI Welcome...I am a new forum member as well. I just purchased a 2020 Ranger XLT 4x2. My sister owned a 93 Ranger 4 banger and it was kind of tossed around the family...my sister was was the first owner, then my dad had it for while, then my brother. It eventually wound up in the hands of my cousin. The last I heard it finally decided to die...but it had so many miles on it that the odometer did not have enough digits..lol. Anyhow welcome. I am looking forward to seeing how long I keep this Ranger!!

🤔 Hmmm, I didn’t know they came “new”....
