hey all nw guy with lock issue

hey all just got my first ranger, a nice little 4.0 xlt for a good deal. anyways she has a couple issues I'm trying to work out. bought it off the inlaws and they said they brought it somewhere to have the power locks dissabled (he had a tendancy of getting locked out by the dog) so I'd like to get them going again. what's the most likely thing they would of done to disengage them? thanks

Possible 15amp fuse in the #18 position was removed.

i checked that and it's still there and not burnt

They might have pulled the relay from the relay box. I think on yours, the relay box is to the left of the glove box. If you hit the unlock button, you'll probably hear the unlock relay clicking to help find it.

maybe they pulled the plug off the switches in the doors or unplugged the actuators themselves

maybe you could try asking the people you bought the truck from??? just an idea.. lol
