im swapping an 84 5.0 into a 89 xlt ranger if posted this before but i havent understood the answers fully. i need everything how to wire all the electric engine components (not sensors) like the ignition starter voltage regulator and the alternator an indepth picture or explanaion would be great bc im horrible at this wiring stuff even though everyone says its easy:sad: i have the original ignition and an msd ill use w.e. is easier thanks please help!

starter- cable from battery
alternator- run wire from battery terminal on alternator to a positive connection. Usually run this wire to positive side on starter.
Voltage regulator is inside most alternators so you dont have to hook it up
do you not have instructions on the MSD box? If not got to msd web and ask for install instructions. Or go to ask.com , or ehow.com

I believe I need to wire the regulator also any idea were I can find the info on it
