I was having issues with the temperature readings in the temperature gauge on my 4.0 OHV 4x4 '99, so I went to the shop for a diagnostic, the mechanic took off the sender, but he made it with the wrong tool, he broke the plastic head of the sender and the letters and numbers that identify the part are now unreadable. I think it is a special part because one pin is larger than the other, in fact the other pin doesn´t have any function I gues, see the attached picture of the sender. Does anybody now what is this part the numbers and letters to identify it? is it a sender or a sensor?. See the attached pictures, the location of the part is indicated with the edge of a green arrow. Thanks for your help.
