So here is my issue
Its a 1995 Ford Ranger markings on the transmission are F57A-AA. So the issue is the output shaft seal blew out and so I went to my local autoparts store and this is the part that they gave me.

So my question is on the install. Inside the connection there is a metal sleeve that goes over where the drive shaft connects to the transmission. After replacing the seal (put it on the drive shaft and then reinstalled the drive shaft. On the test drive the transmission fluid began spewing out from the output shaft housing (like when the seal failed the first time) So what I am wondering is if my placement of the seal is wrong or what the other issue could be (such as drive shaft not being true which may also be the case)
