if its getting painted then they will probably look fine... not sure i'd want to get those and then wheel them hard tho... steelies are popular w/ wheelers for a reason.

Edit. 85 your truck is a sweet ride, it would dig wheelin up here.

With open diffs (well the rear is L/S ) and stiff/heavy springs she is set up more for workin' than wheelin'.

IMO it kinda depends on the vehicle. Some look better one way and others look better another way. I have white letters out on my kinda flashy Ranger and the tires on my F-150 don't even have white letters. On those two I wouldn't have it any other way.

Partially personal preference. On the black steel rims I ran in the winter on my Ranger, i ran blackwall out and it looked great. With the chrome rims in the summer, I ran white letter out and thought that looked good.
