Hi guys I got a 89 ranger XLT runs mint and put alot into it i just don't like the headlights and would prefer the boxy 87 style ones if anyone knows how to convert it and what parts I need I would gladly appreciate it

There's no real easy way to do it. It must be fabbed. I looked into doing it for my '89 as well.

Yup, not a plug and play deal. You wouldn't even have turn signals since the 83-88 trucks did not have them integrated into the headlight.

With that being said a couple members have mentioned swapping the front clip. But I dont know if they ever did or how hard it would be

Your only option would be the full front clip swap. You'd need the inner fenders, core support, grill, hood, header panel, and a spot weld cutter.
