HELP!! 4.0 to 351w swap

Ok so I just bought and installed what was supposed to be a 90,000 mile 4.0 in my 98 ranger it ran great for 1000 mile and then with no warning it slung # 5 rod while running up the interstate I'm done with the 4.0 I have a built 351w which is stroked to 408 I'm debating on putting it in my truck what trans can I use to keep my 4x4 working easily any ideas would be helpful ..also headers and mounts...I know this can be done just need help finding a starting point...auto or manual would be fine but I want my Speedo to work

Don't see what's so urgent, better placed in the V-8 section if you want action. See you're new but great section on V-8 swaps. Trans the Explorer 4R70w, xfer case either the AWD 4404 from Explorer or the selectable 4406 from Expedition. Motor mounts, just the stock Explorer 5.0 ones. With a 408, better look for a 31 spline rear out of an Explorer or a Level !! Ranger. Headers - custom. That's just a quick start.
