Hello! Re-new owner and already have questions.

Hello,

I used to own a '96 Ranger and sadly got rid of it. However, the beautiful day has come that I am a proud owner of a ranger again!

I now own a '97 Ranger, and being from Ohio of course it has things that need some work.
I have the opportunity to purchase a '99 as a parts truck for dirt cheap, but I'm unsure if the parts match from the different generations.

Any help would be appreciated!

There were some significant changes after the 97 model year. MY98 started a new generation... big impacts to the 4WD system and a front end face lift. Check out the Tech Library... a bunch of these changes have been document. I still believe there would be useable parts for you... but not all things will be interchangeable.
