Hello, I just joined the TRS site after 3 years of reading. Just using to ask questions about my truck along my build. Im 17, learning as I go. lOVE THE FACT THAT I GET 20MPG... But it is a GREAT TRUCK. Just wish there was ALOT more aftermarket options.

i read that if i do a SAS it becomes 4WD because of the differential. i dont knwo a whole lot about that and soudn stupid asking but is this true or not?

you have to change more than that but yes, its on its way to 4x4 if you do that.

You COULD put a straight front axle under your truck that's not 4WD ('64 Ford truck & older) but why? Everyone who does SAS wants it for much stronger components for giant tires, off-road, mud, trail ride, etc.

Because a "gasser" ranger is way more unique than a SAS 4x4 ranger

Somebody on here is doing a gasser Ranger. He posted last spring and wasn't finished yet. I pm'd him asking for pictures for the calendar. Never heard back.
