The engine has started idling erratically at times. It hunts between 2000 and 3000rpm. The only way to get it to slow down is to let it lug down in gear until it gets to normal idle, then let the clutch out, or turn it off then restart. I have been told it might be the crank position sensor or the throttle position sensor, whatever those are. Question...If one of those is the problem, how difficult and expensive is the fix? I am not very mechanically adept, especially on newer vehicles. If that might NOT be the problem, what might it be? Thanks

Vacuum leak? Idle air control valve? Dirty MAF sensor? Throttle position sensor?

Im guessing. But those are things I would start with.

Oh, yeah...
