Hi All,

I have an 04 Ranger FX4 and am interested in going a little further afield from where I normally go. I have been advised to use a torsion key lift so that i can throw some 32' tires on it.

Problem is, I don't really no much about this.. Is it a good idea? what could the pro's and cons be for this? I took a look in the tech library, and it is mentioned as a cheap way to put a lift in.

Any advice?

Will put some pics up when I can, but its pretty much pure vanilla as I haven't done anything to it yet.

Cheers!

Welcome to the site! There is so much info your head will spin. The torsion keys are 100% unnecessary! You can crank the torsion bars yourself with just a wrench. Check out the tech library and you will find lots of info on it. That's all you will need to fit them 32's. Just keep in mind the width of the tire and the backspacing of the rims. Might want to rethink the 12.5 in wides and mabey have a peek at a set of 10.5's. Best of luck and welcome!
