Just thought I'd take a moment and introduce myself.
I've looked to this forum many times over the years and just joined.
I have two 1997 Ranger 4x4 trucks and a 1989 model 4x4.
I also recently lost my 1997 4x2 prerunner in a vehicle fire.
Additionally, I have a RBV and a 1995 F150 4x4.
I'm a fabricator and mechanic.
In general, I really like this era of Ford trucks and the whole TTB /beam setups.
I've cut and turned them and have relocated with brackets.
I've made and have lengthened stock radius arms.
After the forementioned loss of the 4x2 via fire, I decided to make one of my 1997 4x4 trucks into a low budget prerunner inspired rig that remains capable in snow country.
I suppose you could say it is more of a tribute to the trucks I've worked on or owned in NV during the whole 1990's prerunner craze.
Anyhow,.I could go on and on here, but I really wanted to say how much I have appreciated this forum over the years, even as a non-member.
Thanks to everyone for your generosity, especially Jim Oaks for setting up this whole community!
