- My credo
- Fix it like it has to last a 100 Years.
My handle is OkieGentleman.
I spent a number of years driving company Ford Rangers and I probably drove about 500,000 miles in them while on company business. I retired several years ago and it seemed every time I turned around I needed to haul something. I got tired of putting potting soil and such in the back of my sedan, so I started to hunt for a pickup on the internet.
My choice was naturally a Ranger. After about 2 months of driving my wife nuts bidding on trucks in Mass, Florida or California I found one in Tulsa Oklahoma just 100 miles away.
I am now the proud owner of a 1998 XLT Ranger Super Cab with a stepside bed with 193,00 miles on it. The interior is tan and the paint is Bright Amber. Needs some TLC but I have a new project.
I have already saved about $700 or more with information from this and other forums about Rangers. I may have a few tricks I have learned in my career that are worth sharing. I look forward to reading posts about your customizing and repairs to your Rangers.

I found out why I was having trouble getting the e-mail conformation from this site. FireFox decided that your e-mail was spam. After I found the e-mail in the spam file I was able to join without any difficulty. I apologize for the confusion.
