Hi y'all!

My name is Carl, Wife Dee.
45 yrs old retired US Army
Long time mechanic and carpenter
I found this forum in a yahoo search, look forward to being a positive part

I just bought a 2001 2WD, Ext cab, 3.0V6/Auto Ranger.
234,000 miles on the engine and body. used tranny installed 6/13.

The body is in great shape, minor issues but looks like it is going to be a great truck for my wife's DD!

I bought it last June cheap KNOWING it has an issue.
turned out it needed a full motor rebuild.

So the 3.0 is fully rebuilt now with a custom ground cam.

I'll update more later along with pictures from start to current.

Just saying hi for now and HOPING this is a good forum!
