Hi everyone,

Abused 4.0 ranger sat out in a field after being used for 3-5years by first owner. Bought in 2022. 2WD 4.0 with 70k on the clock when bought. Have some odd issues so will post more specifics later.

Looking for a stick shift tailhousing.

Here's a picture of the abuse (the tailgate is also jacked beyond recognition, like someone overloaded and crumpled it with a dozer blade or a hydraulic press.).

For body work it looks like a suction cup would pull a good chunk of the dents out. I'm sure the eyebrow at the top of the bed will be an issue to get out along with the eyebrow on the body line on the supercab part.

I have responded to your post on some of the issues you are having with running issues. For a 95 it looks to be in OK to Good shape.

The 96 i just bought has some similar dents on the passenger side. Mine wasn't a farm truck, it was owned by an older gentleman that shouldn't have been driving, family convinced to sell it.

Welcome. If the suction cup method doesn't work, try and air duster spray can held up side down. The freezing action from the spray can pop out some dents as well.

This was bought from an older lady who owned a farm after her husband passed away. I think she was 96 (?) years old when I bought it from her, she still had a DL. They had a barn full of old trucks but her husband was a Chevy man. Bunch of big and small block chevys and a few diesel S10s (I regret not buying one of those) in the barn. This was the only Ford he had and he said it a was a POS due to the co-centric clutch (S10 went to co-centric in 1996 I believe).

Me personally, I buy whatever works. I like the small, indirect injection diesel pickups (I live in an emissions county sadly so no swaps) so I can run black diesel/ bio but those are hard to find. Repeal CAFE standards...

You will be surprised at how much of the dent you can push out. You have nothing to lose and it will only look better. Like someone else mentioned use a deflated basketball or similar and work it out with an air pump. You might even get behind a ;lanel and push some out.
