headers for 302 swap

Hey guys, I was told about this site so im new. I know i can buy some shorty headers from smmit for my 1989 ranger but I'm a big fan of long tube full length headers. Is there any out of a certain car or truck I could use.

i have some manifolds off a 98 explorer with the gt40p 5.0. fit decent in my 87 ranger.

This topic comes up several times a month. It's been covered completely several times over. We often advise beginers to search, read, search, read, (and so on and so on) before asking questions or buying parts. If you're not willing to do the research, you'll never finish a swap and end up with a truck on blocks. We're just trying to prevent that.

Go with headmen shorty headers with your 302 engine. I did in my 85 Ranger & it works good. Make sure you do a cooper header gaskets for them ok. I had the cheap ones one & i crack them so I had to get Percy's xx Carbon Gaskets I guest they are ok. I also see Gibson makes a shorty header too. Go to summitracing.com/ or check out LMCTruck.com/
