Hello, I am swapping in a V8 into my 1989 4X4 Ranger Supercab and am in the process of building a 302 I have from an 87 truck. I have found a decently priced set of GT40P heads to use rather then what I have now. The question is I have read through the forums and seen there are issues with headers on the P heads but have not been able to locate anybody (the info may be out there I just haven't been able to find it however, I will continue to look) who has confirmed a pair of headers that will fit before I purchase the heads. If it matters bellhousing wise I plan on using a manual transmission but unsure what kind at the moment all depends what I find first and cheap as I plan on rebuilding the trans/ transfer. Any feedback as to what Does and Doesn't fit would be appreciated. Also, what would it take to retain the cruise control after the swap? Thanks in advance.
